By analyzing the organization, structure and texture of a handbag, I found a rotating system that can be applied to the retail store design, providing maximum flexibility for multiple programs in a limited space. Housing Works runs bookstore, retail store and other business as well to improve the lives of more New Yorkers need and broaden the scop of their advocacy work. Thus, the retail store is aimed to be a multi- function place that able to sell products, read books and hold weekly event.
